In this hands-on course I teach students the Engineering Design Process with projects and design challenges. I emphasize the importance of the process just as much as the final product. Students must always clearly document their design process, from initial concepts all the way to testing.

Another emphasis of this course is shop safety. Over the course of the year students gain confidence safely using machines and powertools to build their prototypes.
