Each year students work in teams to design, program, build, and test robots to compete in VEX Robotics competitions.

I emphasize 3 pillars - Community, Self Improvement, and Competitive Spirit - which inform all aspects of the course. Students are expected to embody this philosphy in their thoughts, words, and deeds.
Students progress individually and as teams, developing valuable skills including teamwork, time and project management, problem solving, and creative and critical thinking. As part of the design process they also gain hands-on skills in engineering, 3D modeling, and programming.
Students are encouraged to share their knowledge with others, to support their community. We have participated in multiple outreach activities at local elementary schools and we also have an active Youtube channel:
